in general its kind of weird to look at a fictional character & say they need to shut up & go to therapy; like beyond the weirdness of presenting therapy as an end-all solution to mental health, it just feels like a lack of willingness to engage with anything the story is trying to explore wrt mental health. esp since like. the character is not a real person they are Like That bc it suits the story the writer wants to tell

like not to reiterate a point ppl have been making for years but sometimes characters do shitty things bc the story’s goal is to explore broader themes through said characters, & ending an analysis at “this character is a shitty person” is stupid
